Magnaflux Non-Fluorescent Magnetic Particles

These yellow-colored, non-fluorescent magnetic particles are designed for effective dry method magnetic particle testing under visible light. They provide strong contrast on various metal surfaces, making them ideal for detecting surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities in ferrous metals. Whether used with a powder blower or shaken from a bottle, these particles can be applied during magnetization and blown off while current is still active. Remarkably, on materials with high magnetic retentivity, indications can form even after the current is switched off.

Benefits

  • Sharp, color-contrast indications on high reflective surfaces
  • Ready-to-use formulation
  • Excellent particle buildup for quick detection
  • Highly refined for optimal particle shape and size
  • Minimal dust accumulation
  • No requirement for black light or darkened inspection areas

Specifications

  • AMS 3040
  • ASTM E709
